Knotted & matted dogs

Service Description

We clipper dogs with a 10 blade when his/her coat is pelted, compacted or matted. Our full or partial 10 blade clip is for the well being of the dog, as cutting out knots close to the skin is dangerous as skin is usually pulled into the knot and trying to brush out matted hair causes pain and injury to dogs. We spend a maximum of two hours on matted or pelted coats and may need to spread it over a couple of days to reduce the stress to the dog.
